The President and Founder of Light Grace Ministries Prophet Moses Branson James instructs his followers to fast and pray for 7 days from the 2nd of January to the 8th of January 2026 as shown below:

"Good morning, sons and daughters in the Lord. As we step into the year 2026, I decree that this year shall respond to you for good, in Jesus’ name. “You shall decree a thing, and it shall be established for you” (Job 22:28). We have begun our seven days of prayer and fasting, and today is our first day. We shall break the fast at about 3:00 p.m. “This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” (Matthew 17:21). Today, we consecrate our lives and families before God. As you fast, speak to the Lord concerning all you desire Him to do this year. “Call unto Me, and I will answer you” (Jeremiah 33:3). By faith, place at least one dollar on your altar each day for seven days as your sacrificial seed and first-fruit offering for 2026. “Honor the Lord with your firstfruits” (Proverbs 3:9–10). Pray for divine favor, good health, and open doors. I decree you will not miss your ordained opportunities. “Behold, I have set before you an open door” (Revelation 3:8). This year shall bring testimonies and visible progress for you, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen!"
